When travelling overseas, save IDD charge by using our Callback Service. You can trigger calls with SMS or Callback. With this service, we can help you cut down unnecessary expenses when making IDD calls from overseas.

Registration is free and simple. Fill our online registration form to get the CHAT CHAT Anywhere Member Card. We will send the card out in 2 working days by Post. In general, the delivery takes about 5 working days by Hongkong Post.

After receiving the member card, add value to the card with one of our easy recharge methods and the card is ready to be used.

International Call Forward Service (ICFS)

You can now set your calls to follow you anywhere you are. Set up can be done by phone, SMS or from our website.

Subscribers can now travel between different countries and enjoy great savings by using our services. Inform us the new destination number by calling +852 3189 0308; or sending a SMS to +852 6131 1852; or logging to our website to change the information and your calls will follow.

You can set up by the following steps:

1. Call +852 3189 0308
2. Select language (1-Cantonese, 2-Putonghua, 3-English)
3. Enter 8-digit member card number
4. Enter 4-digit password
5. Press "1" to set up the ICFS
6. Enter 8 digit Hong Kong Phone Number to be diverted
7. Enter Overseas Phone Number (country code + area code + Phone Number + #) Eg. 8613912345678#
8. Press "1" to confirm (the setting will be saved)

Set up by sending a SMS in required format to +852 6131 1852

Example:
CHAT CHAT Anywhere Member Card: 6800 1234
Password: 5678
Hong Kong Mobile No: +852 9123 4567
Overseas Mobile No: 66 1234 5678

Your message will look like this:

Before leaving Hong Kong:
Divert all calls to your Hong Kong mobile number to +852 3059 9888.

Our system will automatically divert all your incoming calls to the overseas number that was set up previously.

When returning to Hong Kong:
Cancel all diverts from your mobile phone by entering # # 21 #call

Callback Services (Worldwide SMS Callback / China Callback)

When travelling overseas, use our Callback Service to make calls to any countries and save IDD charges.

To activate this service, users simply register the Overseas Mobile Phone number that they will be using. Once activated, user can initiate a call by using SMS (“Worldwide SMS Callback”) or Callback (“China Callback”) service from the registered number to any overseas countries.

You can set up Callback service by the following steps:

1. Call +852 3189 0308
2. Select language (1-Cantonese, 2-Putonghua, 3-English)
3. Enter 8-digit member card number
4. Enter 4-digit password
5. Press "7" for China Callback / Worldwide SMS Callback
6. Press "1" to enter the overseas phone number that you will use during your trip Enter overseas destination phone number (country code + area code + Phone Number + #) Eg. 8613912345678#
7. Press "1" to confirm

(You can register more than 1 overseas phone numbers for the Callback service)

Worldwide SMS Callback
While overseas, you can send a SMS to +852 6131 1852 in the following format. Within 10 seconds, our system will call you back and connect you to destination.

China Callback
When travelling in China, you can call our system at 00 852 5127 5182 or 00 852 6131 1789and hang up the phone after hearing the first ring tone.
Our system will call you back within 10 seconds to prompt you to input the destination phone number.

VIP 1649 Express
You can register VIP 1649 Express. After registration, IDD calls can be made directly from your phone by dialing:

4. Enter 4-digit password
5. Press "6" to register
6. Press "1" to confirm when the system prompts your registered number

4. Enter 4-digit password
5. Press "8" for topping up overseas mobile number
6. Enter Hong Kong mobile number followed by "#" key
7. Choose country of the overseas mobile phone (01 = China, 02 = Malaysia, 03 = Indonesia, 04 = the Philippines)
8. Enter overseas mobile number followed by "#" key
9. Choose denomination
10. Press "1" to confirm

Check Balance

6. The system prompts your balance

7-Eleven

Simply bring your CHAT CHAT Anywhere Member Card to 7-Eleven counter to recharge. Minimum amount is $50.
Note: 1-days processing time is required by 7-Eleven

Phone Payment Service (PPS)

1. Call 18031
2. Enter your 5-digit PPS Phone Password
3. Enter Shinetown Telecom’s Merchant Code: 9626
4. Enter 8-digit of CHAT CHAT Anywhere Member No plus 2-digit of password
5. Press “02 -Anywhere” for bill type
6. Enter recharge amount

Credit card (Visa / Master)

Call our Customer Service Hotline at +852 8102 1229 from 9:00 to 18:00. Minimum recharge is $50. Service hours: Monday to Sunday 9:00 to 18:00.

Internet Banking

You can pay your bill via your own bank’s Internet Banking site. At “Bill Payment’, under “Telecom”, look for “Shinetown Telecommunication Limited” then choose “CHAT CHAT Anywhere Service”.
